Why Mac OS X Is Safe And Windows Isn’t

The Mac OS X in my opinion is really safer because of the way it’s built. Not because there’s a lack of people writing virus, malware, etc.. for it. Ok, ok, granted there are a ton more people writing for Windows but still that’s not the only reason why Windows is more vulnerable. It’s really because of the way it’s built.
Microsoft can honestly develop a better OS. In order to do that though it has to throw out Windows and start from scratch. They just can’t do that because it doesn’t make business sense. On the other hand, Apple started from scratch. Well relatively. But OS X is very different from previous Mac OS’es. I guess in a way Apple’s smaller market share worked to their advantage. They had the flexibilty for a better transition to a different OS. Microsoft should really do this.. They should start thinking of how to transition users to a better OS. Maybe provide an emulation layer to run legacy software. Easier said than done though.
Enough of my rambling. Go check out the article. If you have time, come back here and leave me a note to let me know what you think. Over and out!
